In the spring this year we reluctantly decided not to award most of our trophies any more. We simply do not have the volunteer human resources needed to manage the logistics of their collection and allocation to classes so the decision was taken only to award 5 of the 203 trophies we have been given over the years. Next year we will award a couple more than we did this year but the rest of the trophies require re-homing.
We are hoping initially to return trophies to their original donors or their heirs where they can be found and some donors have generously given their trophies to previous winners whose names are engraved on them.
We still have 182 trophies to deal with, 61 of which we have no provenance for, other than in a few cases the name of the trophy itself, which isn't always any practical help.
